Results!

Wooo!! I got a 2:1!

I'm so pleased and relieved! I had decided that I wasn't going to get it and that I had thrown away my chances last semester.....you can see why I was a bit worried - my average was 59.6% so I really did only just get it!!

Been decorating my room at home this week (Thanks to Graham for helping!). After rearranging it feels much airier and spacious than before which is excellent. The walls are now white and the woodwork is one of 2 shades of turquoise. I likes it a lot. Still got to unpack all of my stuff into it though!

I turned 22 last tuesday. It didn't really feel like that much of a birthday this year. I guess that's because I didn't really do anything big to celebrate. For the past few years I've always had a party or been out on a major pissup...this year I just went for a meal with my family and Gray. Maybe this is a sign that I'm getting old!

PS. Congrats to Bob on his first and to everyone else who got their degrees on friday!

They can't work me out because I'm not mathematics

Aloha! Not blogged for ages (again!)

I bought a magazine today which says it has 4 covers to 'collect'. I don't quite understand this concept.....why would anyway buy 4 copies of the same magazine just to 'collect' the different covers? Strange.

I have spent the day sorting out stuff in my room and adding to the ever expanding pile of paper, magazines and notes to be recycled (it's almost a metre high now!) I also did ALL the washing up in the kitchen and cleaned the draining board.....this was no mean feat (What does that actually mean? What is a feat? Is that even how you spell it?!) some of the washing up has been there since christmas and the draining board.....well it was so rank that there were actually things living under it - YUK!

This cleaning and sorting spree is all because I am leaving Southampton on Monday. It's a bit weird and sad really but at the same time I feel quite ready to move on and start the next chapter! I'm turning 22 on Tuesday, it's a shame that I won't be in Southampton to celebrate (Seeing as the weekend I wanted celebrate it in London it seems like none of my friends will be there!) but luckily there is some cool stuff planned for the weekend - should be meeting Graham's best friend on sat and Jon is having a party and then on Sunday a BBQ at Sarah's. Have to say goodbye to everyone! :-s

P.S. In web etiquette do we write :-S or :-s? Because I can never decided which one looks best!

Doh

I've just painted my nails a bright shade of orange (crazy I know) and instead of patiently waiting for them to dry I decided to have a bit of a tidy (this consisted of moving some clothes about a bit) which resulted in the smudging of my freshly painted talons. This isn't the first time this phenomenon has occured, there is something in my brain that decides the moment I finish applying nail polish that it is time to do things with my hands. I guess this is what living dangerously is all about :-)

Stop raining please!

Woke up this morning and felt a bit rubbish. Have been dreaming lots lately and just before I woke up I was having a dream about being trapped in a room with my friend and there being a monster outside the door which was trying to get in. The monster turned out to be a bit of an ugly dog and we eventually escaped out of the window. Now I've had some tea and porridge(with honey) and feel much better! I've started eating porridge again recently, it's actually rather yum (but a killer to wash up!)

ROCK was quite good on Monday, I didn't feel too out of place and I got a little drunk which was unsurprising seeing as I haven't really done much drinking over the past few months. However it wasn't really a fun drunken, I just felt tired and a bit sick!! On the plus side we found some promotional cactai from the film Sahara which we stole - this is a very random idea I think!! Hoping that tonight will be good. It's the AIM pubcrawl. I'm a team captain again and my team won last time so I'm hoping I will have a good team again this time and uphold my victorious title! I'm slightly worried about my current drinking capacity, as I say I haven't done much of the drinking lately so I'm not sure how much copious amounts of drinks will effect me! I'm sure I'm sure I'll get through it in the end, somehow when it comes to competitive drinking I'm seem to manage ok!! Bring it on!!

Chavs are rubbish

I'm just watching the lunchtime news and they're doing a report about a young mother who has been stabbed in Surrey. So there is a reporter outside the hospital speaking live about this woman who has been a victim of a serious crime and might die.....then these stupid chavs start messing around shouting and waving right behind the reporter. Twats.

You would have thought I could have made my first blog for ages a bit more cheerful.....I'll try harder next time!

:-(

It's a horrible feeling when you want to see someone and you can't.
When you want to make everything better and you can't.
When you wish you could give them a hug and you can't.
I guess I'll just have to wait....but I can't!

Trolleys and curbs do not mix....

.......especially when i'm in the trolley at the time!

Had a bit of a drunken accident on Friday kids. After spending a few hours in Clowns I was feeling pretty drunk. Graham and I stumbled off to Safeways and purchased a varied selection of goodies according to the game we had made up. This involved choosing 4 bits of paper each with various indications of what to buy, i.e. 'reduced' 'frozen' 'tinned' etc and a budget of £2 each. We did pretty well at this, only going over our £4 budget by 6p. And then we found a trolley.....I decided to get in said trolley, now for some reason we decided to take a different route home. I needed a wee so I we were looking for somewhere 'ladylike' for me to go. We noticed a dark alley between two houses (this was probably just a driveway but it was dark and we were drunk) so Graham steered me in the direction.........unfortunately the curb was higher than it looked. The trolley stopped abruptly, Graham flew over it and I landed in a heap on the tarmac. At first it seemed funny....until I realised that things were hurting quite badly and my face seemed to have taken a bashing :-s Cue the tears! While Graham came away with a just few scratches and a sore hand I managed to obtain a variety of injuries! My knees are quite cut up and were very swollen (so I was walking around like an old lady!), I have a nice big black bruise on my arm, the palms of my hands are all scabby and my face looks a bit like i've been in a fight!! So let that be a lesson to you all............don't drink drive!!!

Oh and to top it all off I got home and dropped my new star-shaped belt buckle on my foot causing a nice red dent!! Doh!!
